There are two accommodation options on our property which has absolute water frontage to Killiecrankie Bay.
Nautilus 1 is chic with a queen sized bedroom, separate bathroom and spacious open plan kitchen, dining, living area and deck.
Nautilus 2 is an architect designed beach house with two queen sized bedrooms both with ensuites with the one for the main bedroom having a luxurious bath with a fold back window overlooking the ocean. There is a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area connected to a large deck and there are balconies off both bedrooms.
Both are fully self contained, comfortably furnished and with interiors that present an elegant coastal ambience ... and both have sweeping views across a breathtaking bay to Mt Killiecrankie with the beach and foreshore just a stones throw away.

Enjoy the breathtaking views from the decks ... Craggy Island floating on the distant horizon ... the late afternoon light on Mt Killiecrankie ... spectacular sunsets ... and if you are fortunate enough to be here at the time, full moon rise … or watch from inside when the weather is wild and stormy.

See the wallabies when they come to feed and keep and eye out for the more elusive wombats … plenty of droppings and scratchings but few sightings yet on the property ... and there is a rich variety of birdlife you can see and hear at Nautilus ... rosellas, wrens, honeyeaters, sea eagles circling over the bay, wedge tail eagles soaring over Killiecrankie Bluff, Cape Barren geese, firetail finches, currawongs ...

Have a bbq on the deck or pack the picnic basket and esky and head off to explore. Either way ... enjoy!

In late August and September the garden has a lovely developing display of daffodils and jonquils ... in October the natives are flowering especially the richly honey sweet smelling kunzea and the tea tree adorned in a white cloud of flowers ... in Autumn the sheaoaks take on a burnished colour.

Hear the ever present sound of the ocean ... a wonderful bonus.

There are beach, coastal and bushwalks starting when you walk out the door of Nautilus ... or you can fossick for Killiecrankie diamonds … swim or snorkel in the bay.
Nautilus is not just a place to stay while you explore Flinders Island. Nautilus, because of its location, its facilities and its ambience, is a delightful place to be.
